This tribe Uses Goat Hair And Mud To Style Their Hair

The Himba are often called the Ovahimba or Omhimba people who live in the Kunene region of Namibia.

Their elaborately braided hair, skin and clothes covered in a mixture of ground red rock and butter, the women of Namibia’s Himba tribe are a striking sight

But while the women sport hairstyles of varying degrees of complexity, the men cover their heads with turbans from the moment they marry and never remove them; instead using an arrow-like implement to scratch the hair beneath the turban.

The Himba women are famous for their fascinating dreadlocks, and while you might have known that they used ground ochre to create the stunning red look, you might not have known what else goes into it. They rub the ground ochre with butter and goat hair or Indian hair extensions to create the unique styles.

The red ochre that Himba people wear on their skin isn’t only to look cool or differentiate between the men and women, it also serves a biological purpose. The red ochre and butter paste that they wear is called otjize and actually cleans the skin when there is no water, protects against mosquito bites, and keeps them cooler in the hot climate.

The Himba tribe is polygamous and the men often have multiple wives at the same time. Many of the Himba women are married off as soon as puberty starts, most in arranged marriages. On average, most husbands have two wives.

They base their wealth on the number of cattle they own. Cows aren’t the only thing the Himba people farm though — they also breed sheep, goats and chickens. However, they don’t exactly eat much of the animals.

12 African Inventions That Changed The World

1 Speech

The first words by humans were spoken by Africans.

”Using statistical methods to estimate the time required to achieve the current spread and diversity in modern languages today, Johanna Nichols — a linguist at the University of California, Berkeley — argues that vocal language must have arisen in our species at least 100,000 years ago. Using phonemic diversity, a more recent analysis offers directly linguistic support for a similar date. Estimates of this kind are independently supported by genetic, archaeological, palaeontological and much other evidence suggesting that language probably emerged somewhere in sub-Saharan Africa during the Middle Stone Age, roughly contemporaneous with the speciation of Homo sapiens.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origin_of_language

2 Writing

In 1999, Archaeology Magazine reported that the earliest Egyptian hieroglyphs date back to 3400 BCE which “…challenge the commonly held belief that early logographs, pictographic symbols representing a specific place, object, or quantity, first evolved into more complex phonetic symbols in Mesopotamia.”

Who were these original Egyptians?

The Greek historian Herodotus.. described the Colchians of the Black Sea shores as “Egyptians by race” and pointed out they had “black skins and kinky hair.”

Apollodorus, the Greek philosopher, described Egypt as “the country of the black-footed ones” and the Latin historian Ammianus Marcellinus said “the men of Egypt are mostly brown or black with a skinny desiccated look.”

http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/specials/1624_story_of_africa/page88.shtml

In his book ‘Egypt’, British scholar Sir E.A. Wallis Budge says: “The prehistoric native of Egypt, both in the old and in the new Stone Ages, was African and there is every reason for saying that the earliest settlers came from the South.” He further states: “There are many things in the manners and customs and religions of the historic Egyptians that suggests that the original home of their prehistoric ancestors was in a country in the neighborhood of Uganda and Punt [present day Somalia].”

”Greek historian Diodorus Siculus devoted an entire chapter of his world history, the Bibliotheke Historica, or Library of History (Book 3), to the Kushites [“Aithiopians”] of Meroe. Here he repeats the story of their great piety, their high favor with the gods, and adds the fascinating legend that they were.. the founders of Egyptian civilization, invented writing, and had given the Egyptians their religion and culture.”

(1st century B.C., Diodorus Siculus of Sicily, Greek historian and contemporary of Caesar Augustus, Universal History Book III. 2. 4-3. 3)

http://wysinger.homestead.com/blackegypt101.html

To summarise:

“Ancient Egypt was a Negro civilisation. The history of Black Africa will remain suspended in the air and cannot be written correctly until African historians connect it with the history of Egypt. The African historian who evades the problem of Egypt is neither modest nor objective nor unruffled. He is ignorant, cowardly and neurotic. The ancient Egyptians were Negroes. The moral fruit of their civilisation is to be counted among the assets of the Black world.”

– Cheikh Anta Diop, The African Origin of Civilisation.

3 Medicine

”The earliest known surgery was performed in Egypt around 2750 BC…. The Ebers papyrus (1550 BC) is full of incantations and foul applications meant to turn away disease-causing demons, and also includes 877 prescriptions. It may also contain the earliest documented awareness of tumors..

Homer (800 BC) remarked in the Odyssey: “In Egypt, the men are more skilled in medicine than any of human kind” and “the Egyptians were skilled in medicine more than any other art”. The Greek historian Herodotus visited Egypt around 440 BC and wrote extensively of his observations of their medicinal practices. Pliny the Elder also wrote favourably of them in historical review. Hippocrates (the ‘father of medicine’), Herophilos, Erasistratus and later Galen studied at the temple of Amenhotep, and acknowledged the contribution of ancient Egyptian medicine to Greek medicine.

4 Architecture

The African empire of Egypt developed a vast array of diverse structures and great architectural monuments along the Nile, among the largest and most famous of which are the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Great Sphinx of Giza

The pyramids, which were built in the Fourth Dynasty, testify to the power of the pharaonic religion and state. They were built to serve both as grave sites and also as a way to make their names last forever. The size and simple design show the high skill level of Egyptian design and engineering on a large scale. The Great Pyramid of Giza, which was probably completed c. 2580 BC, is the oldest and largest of the pyramids, and is the only surviving monument of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The pyramid of Khafre is believed to have been completed around 2532 BC, at the end of Khafre’s reign.

5 Mathematics

The invention of mathematics is placed firmly in African PRE-HISTORY.

”The oldest known possibly mathematical object is the Lebombo bone, discovered in the Lebombo mountains of Swaziland and dated to approximately 35,000 BC. It consists of 29 distinct notches cut into a baboon’s fibula. Also prehistoric artifacts discovered in Africa and France, dated between 35,000 and 20,000 years old [respectively], suggest early attempts to quantify time.

The Ishango bone, found near the headwaters of the Nile river (northeastern Congo), may be as much as 20,000 years old and consists of a series of tally marks carved in three columns running the length of the bone. Common interpretations are that the Ishango bone shows either the earliest known demonstration of sequences of prime numbers or a six month lunar calendar.

Also, Predynastic Egyptians of the 5th millennium BC pictorially represented geometric designs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_mathematics#Prehistoric_mathematics

”Numeral systems have been many and diverse, with the first known written numerals created by Egyptians in Middle Kingdom texts such as the Rhind Mathematical Papyrus.

The earliest uses of mathematics were in trading, land measurement, painting and weaving patterns and the recording of time. More complex mathematics did not appear until around 3000 BC, when the Egyptians and Babylonians began using arithmetic, algebra and geometry for taxation and other financial calculations, for building and construction, and for astronomy”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematics

6 Mining of minerals

The oldest known mine on archaeological record is the “Lion Cave” in Swaziland, which radiocarbon dating shows to be about 43,000 years old. Much later on, the Africans of Egypt mined malachite….Quarries for turquoise and copper were also found at “Wadi Hamamat, Tura, Aswan and various other Nubian sites”..The gold mines of Nubia were among the largest and most extensive in the world, and are described by the Greek author Diodorus Siculus. He mentions that fire-setting was one method used to break down the hard rock holding the gold. One of the complexes is shown in one of earliest known maps. They crushed the ore and ground it to a fine powder before washing the powder for the gold dust.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mining#Prehistoric_mining

7 Iron Smelting

Iron smelting is a form of extractive metallurgy; its main use is to produce a metal from its ore. This includes production of silver, iron, copper and other base metals from their ores. Smelting uses heat and a chemical reducing agent to decompose the ore, driving off other elements as gasses or slag and leaving just the metal behind.

Early iron smelting:

”Where and how iron smelting was discovered is widely debated, and remains uncertain due to the significant lack of production finds.. [but] there is a further possibility of iron smelting and working in West Africa by 1200 BC. In addition, very early instances of carbon steel were found to be in production around 2000 years before the present in northwest Tanzania, based on complex preheating principles. These discoveries are significant for the history of metallurgy.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smelting

8 Religion

Greek historian Diodorus Siculus. From his own statements we learn that he traveled in Egypt around 60 BC. His travels in Egypt probably took him as far south as the first Cataract. He wrote about the black races of inner Africa whom he called ”Ethiopians”, dwelling south of Egypt.

“They further write that it was among them that people were first taught to honor the gods and offer sacrifices and arrange processions and festivals and perform other things by which people honor the divine. For this reason their piety is famous among all men, and the sacrifices among the Ethiopians are believed to be particularly pleasing to the divinity.”

9 Laws

Stephanus of Byzantium, who is said to represent the opinions of the most ancient Greeks, says:

“Ethiopia was the first established country on the earth, and the Ethiopians were the first who introduced the worship of the Gods and who established laws.”

Quoted by John D. Baldwin, Prehistoric Nations, p. 62.

10 International Trade

In 1825, Arnold Hermann Heeren (1760-1842), Professor of History and Politics in the University of Gottengen and one of the ablest of the early exponents of the economic interpretation of history, published, in the fourth and revised edition of his great work Ideen Uber Die Politik, Den Verkehr Und Den Handel Der Vornehmsten Volker Der Alten Weld, a lengthy essay on the history, culture, and commerce of the ancient Ethiopians, which had profound influence on contemporary writers in the conclusion that it was among these ancient Black people of Africa and Asia that international trade was first developed.

He wrote that as a by-product of these international contacts there was an exchange of ideas and cultural practices that laid the foundations of the earliest civilizations of the ancient world. Heeren in his researches says:

“From the remotest times to the present, the Ethiopians (ancient name for blacks south of the Sahara) have been one of the most celebrated, and yet the most mysterious of nations. In the earliest traditions of nearly all the..civilized nations of antiquity, the name of this distant people is found.

..The annals of the Egyptian priests are full of them, and the nations of inner Asia, on the Euphrates and Tigris, have interwoven the fictions of the Ethiopians with their traditions of the wars and conquests of their heroes; and, at a period equally remote, they glimmer in Greek mythology. When the Greeks scarcely knew Italy and Sicily by name, the Ethiopians were celebrated in the verses of their poets, and when the faint gleam of tradition and fable gives way to the clear light of history, the lustre of the Ethiopians is not diminished. They still continue to be the objects of curiosity and admiration, and the pen of clear-sighted, cautious historians places them in the highest rank of knowledge and civilization.”

11 Philosophy

Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with reality, existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. Philosophy is distinguished from other ways of addressing such problems by its critical, generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy#Ancient_philosophy

Philosophy in Africa has a rich and varied history, dating from pre-dynastic Egypt, continuing through the birth of Christianity and Islam. Arguably central to the ancients was the conception of “ma’at”, which roughly translated refers to “justice”, “truth”, or simply “that which is right”. One of the earliest works of political philosophy was the Maxims of Ptah-Hotep, which were taught to Egyptian schoolboys for centuries…Ancient Egyptian philosophers made extremely important contributions to Hellenistic philosophy, Christian philosophy, and Islamic philosophy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_philosophy

”Ancient Egyptian philosophy has been credited by the ancient Greeks as being the beginning of philosophy”.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Egyptian_philosophy

12 Art

The oldest art objects in the world—a series of tiny, drilled snail shells about 75,000 years old—were discovered in a South African cave.

Google Advises Android Users To Delete These 24 Banned Apps

Tech giant Google banned over 50 apps due to concerns that they are causing Android users to be flooded with adverts.

Google has further banned 24 apps from its Play Store for the same problem, with worries that the apps were clogging phones up with annoying hardware.

According to Daily Express, the latest attack targets Facebook users with stolen personal information and credentials that hackers stole from social accounts.

The ban came after French cyber-security firm Evina reported its findings to Google in May.

Evina discovered that the apps could infiltrate devices by offering genuine functionality.

When a user installs the app, a hidden code inside it is automatically activated and begins to steal personal data. When the user launches Facebook, an overlay web browser window pops up over the Facebook app.

It brings up a Facebook login page that is incredibly like the real thing. Then users enter their username and password, which are sent on to hackers.

Evina found the malicious code in 24 apps, which Google removed as soon as it was reported to them at the end of May and they had verified the security company’s findings.

The 24 apps are:

Super Wallpapers Flashlight
Padenatef

Solitare Game
Accurate scanning of QR code
Classic card game
Junk file cleaning

Google has since removed the apps from Play Store and they are no longer available for download.

However, those who already have the apps on their phones would have to delete them manually.

Users are also advised to change their Facebook passwords after deleting the apps.

8 Truth Nostradamus Prediction That Has Come To Pass (The Man Who Predicted Covid-19 Since 1551)

Michel de Nostredame, or as we know him, Nostradamus, was a French apothecary who published his collections of predictions. His collection of major predictions, The Prophecies, was first published in 1555. Nostradamus claimed that his predictions are based on judicial astrology, however many astrologist felt he was incompetent to assume that planetary configurations could predict what would happen in the future.

Nostradamus has rejected the title of “prophet” on many occasions. Based off of literary sources, it is doubtful that he used any particular methods other than contemplation, meditation and incubation for entering a trance state. However, legend has it he attempted using ancient methods of flame and water gazing.

Many of Nostradamus’ predictions deal with often undated disasters in general or can specify a single person or town. While many try to discredit him, it is hard to not look over those predictions that came true. Here are the top eight Nostradamus predictions that has truly happen:

16 Glaring Signs That Your Girlfriend Is Cheating On You

MERRY CHRISMAS EVERYONE, HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME.

As disgusting and annoying as the word cheating sounds, not knowing that your partner is cheating on you is the worst heartbreak. And I’m going to share with your some of the signs that your girlfriend is cheating on you.

Trust me; it’s sometimes difficult to tell if a girl is cheating on you. And it’s humiliating when you accuse your woman wrongly without having a proof of such accusation. However, if you take note of the signs discussed herein, you can tell if your girl is cheating on you.

It’s normal for most men to vouch for their women’s faithfulness. But you still need to know what’s happening in your relationship. Don’t get me wrong… I’m not saying it’s wrong to trust your girlfriend. But don’t pretend that everything is fine even when you start observing funny behaviours.

For every heartbreak you get, there are obvious signs that your girlfriend is cheating on you. You just fail to recognize them because you trusted her…

My friend during my undergraduate days had a terrible heartbreak that almost caused his life. The guy’s name is Desmond; he loved a first-year girl (Tina ) very well. They were always together, and we even called them Romeo and Juliet back then in school.

And there’s a particular man that’s always coming to carry her in a car. She claimed the man was her uncle until my guy (Desmond) visited the girl’s room unannounced. Guess what he saw? They were having sex – if not for our intervention, Desmond would have committed suicide.

Don’t be like Desmond, shine your eyes and don’t allow anybody to break your heart.

Signs That Your Girlfriend is Cheating On You

#1. She’s Always Distracted

One of the most obvious signs that your girlfriend is cheating on you is when she’s always distracted. You should have concerns when you see your once attentive partner finds it difficult to look at you in the eyes. Sometimes, you may end up repeating things to her severally before she gets it because she’s listening.

Let me clarify something here; it’s possible that her distraction is due to other issues affecting her. But if it’s because she’s cheating on you, she will seldom stay in a conversation with you and will always look over your shoulder.

If she’s genuinely cheating on you, she will be looking for ways to disconnect herself from the relationship. In the words of David Klow ( a family Therapist), “if your partner’s actions start changing, then it might be a sign of infidelity.

#2. She Talks Too Much To Someone

There’s nothing bad about your lady talking to another guy. But when your lady spends more time texting and chatting a new guy, it’s a sign that your girlfriend is cheating on you.

Again, she may not be chatting or texting the new guy while you are together. But if she tries to hide her text messages or chats from you, she may be seeing someone else.

However, a time will come when she will unconsciously chat or text the person while you guys are together. And if you see her blushing after reading such chat or text, it’s obvious that she’s cheating or another guy is gradually getting her attention. Whichever be the case, it doesn’t look good.

#3. She Always Changes The Topic When Someone Comes Up in Your conversation

Sometimes, the easiest way to know if your girl is seeing someone is to bring up a conversation about the person you suspect. And if she sounds disinterested or dismissive, your suspicions may be right. In other words, she may be having an affair with that person, after all.

#4. She Seldom Invites You Out to Eat with Your Friends

There’s nothing wrong with your girlfriend having female friends. But if she likes leaving you behind while spending time with her friends, it could be one of the signs that your girlfriend is cheating on you.

In the words of Robert Weiss (PhD), “Your girlfriend’s friend may not be comfortable around you because they may know what’s going on”. After all, a cheater’s friend knows about the infidelity when it started. And there’s a chance that your friends will find out long before you do. For this reason, these people will never be comfortable around you.

And if you dig deeper, you will discover that your pretty girlfriend is trying to play innocent and hide her affairs.

I am not trying to say you can’t trust your woman. However, you shouldn’t let your guard down over certain issues. Except you want to fling with a lady, you should fight for her. And the easiest way to do that is to detect it when someone else is trying to cross your territory.

#5. She Has Started Planning Her Future Without You In It

In the world of relationship, nothing happens by accident. When your lady plans her future and unconsciously leave you out of it, I don’t think it’s by accident. You should be concerned about it.

She may tell you that it was an oversight to cover her tracks. But try to be smart and be ready for what’s coming next (Heartbreak). Like I always tell people, if your partner doesn’t include you in her plans, she may have a good reason for that.

Do you know the greatest challenge of suspecting that your girlfriend is cheating on you? Well, she will always give a perfect explanation for every one of her actions. Trust me; if you aren’t vigilant enough, you may not see the heartbreak coming.

#6. She Guides Her Phone and Computer Like Her Life Depends on It

Of course, your girlfriend’s phone and computer are her privacy. But if she doesn’t have skeletons in her cupboard, there’s no need guiding it as if her life depends on it.

If she is clean and believes that you guys have a future together, she will be entirely open for you. She will have no reason or whatsoever to prevent you from touching her phones or computer.

According to Dr Tracy Phillips (a counsellor and therapist), hiding things from you on her phone and laptop is one of the signs that your girlfriend is cheating on you.

Let me tell you something; every cheater tends to use her phone and computer frequently than before. And she will guide them as if her life depends on it. Again, if your girlfriend’s phone or computer never requires a password in the past, and now they do, it’s not a good sign at all.

Furthermore, when she has a new habit of deleting her text messages and clearing browsing history every day, there’s something suspicious going on, and you need to find it.

#7. She’s Unreachable Most of the Time

It’s always glaring when your girlfriend is cheating on you. For instance, your girlfriend is less likely to answer your calls or respond to your texts when she’s cheating on you.

Let me explain this better before you get it all wrong. It’s normal for someone to miss your calls or fail to respond to your texts because of a busy schedule at work. But when she isn’t taking your calls or responding to your texts while working late at night or on a business trip, it’s one of the signs that your girlfriend is cheating on you.

#8. She Seldom Makes Time For You

This may sound strange, but nobody is truly too busy, it’s all about priority. When your woman finds it difficult to make time for you, it calls for concern.

Come to think of it, how come the relationship that was once intimate and fun sudden becomes dry and cold?

If you still don’t want to believe, let me tell you something else. During the early days of your relationship, she always looked forward to spending time with you and sometimes ask for your schedule. I know you are still wondering what went wrong. Well, it could only be one thing – she’s enjoying the company of someone’s else.

#9. When She Refuse Your Marriage Proposal

Ordinarily, every relationship should have an ultimate goal; which is marriage. And any lady who loves you and ready to spend the rest of her life with you will never refuse your proposal.

But when your lady refuses your proposals it means two things – she’s having doubts about getting married to you, or she’s cheating.

#10. She Gets Angry When You Ask Her Questions

One of the signs that your girlfriend is cheating on you is when she gets mad just because you ask her questions. She tends to get defensive and angry when you confront her about cheating on you.

#11. She’s Over Jealous and Suspicious

When your girlfriend starts cheating on you, she tends to be over jealous and suspicious. She’s jealous because she wants to clear her guilty conscience. So, tagging you a bad guy or the person to leave the relationship makes her justify her actions.

#12. She Always Looks For a Reason to Complaint/Fight

Among the signs that your girlfriend is cheating is that she always look for the slightest opportunity to complain or fight.

Once she starts complaining about things she never complained about in the past, it’s a glaring sign that she’s seeing someone else. Some of her complaints will be; why don’t you dress well? Why don’t you pay attention to your clean up? She will also complain about her doing all the cooking whenever she visits.

#13. She Finds it Difficult to Say “I Love You.”

This is another area you can quickly tell if your girlfriend is cheating on you. Once she starts seeing someone, it’s difficult for her to say to you “I Love You”. She will always try to avoid it or mumble the three syllabus words.

You should know that if your girlfriend isn’t showing enthusiasm saying the three most important words in your relationship, there’s a problem. And most times, it could be that she’s cheating and her conscience won’t allow her to say these words.

#14. She Doesn’t Make Eye Contact Anymore

Maintaining eye contact is essential in a relationship. It enables you to see through the soul of your partner. And when she doesn’t want to maintain eye contact, it either she’s hiding something, or she lost interest in you.

So, whenever the conversation gets serious keep an eye on her gaze, and you can see through her soul. And if she’s cheating on you, she can’t make eye contact with you.

#15. She Suddenly Stops Cuddling

She may not be a big cuddler. But if she was fond of sitting close to you or holding your hands before sleeping, then she suddenly has gone cold, it could be a major sign she’s sending to you.

#16. She Kisses You Without Passion

You don’t need a soothsayer to know that your girlfriend is cheating when she isn’t kissing you anymore. But when she is not kissing you passionately, it’s a clear indication that there’s a problem in the relationship. The problem may not necessarily be cheating, but something is wrong somewhere

Some problems are easy, and some problems are hard.

In the world of math and computer science, there are a lot of problems that we know how to program a computer to solve “quickly” – basic arithmetic, sorting a list, searching through a data table. These problems can be solved in “polynomial time,” abbreviated as “P.” It means the number of steps it takes to add two numbers, or to sort a list, grows manageably with the size of the numbers or the length of the list.

But there’s another group of problems for which it’s easy to check whether or not a possible solution to the problem is correct, but we don’t know how to efficiently find a solution. Finding the prime factors of a large number is such a problem – if I have a list of possible factors, I can multiply them together and see if I get back my original number. But there is no known way to quickly find the factors of an arbitrary large number. Indeed, the security of the Internet relies on this fact.

For historical and technical reasons, problems where we can quickly check a possible solution are said to be solvable in “nondeterministic polynomial time,” or “NP.”

Any problem in P is automatically in NP – if I can solve a problem quickly, I can just as quickly check a possible solution simply by actually solving the problem and seeing if the answer matches my possible solution. The essence of the P vs NP question is whether or not the reverse is true: If I have an efficient way to check solutions to a problem, is there an efficient way to actually find those solutions?

Most mathematicians and computer scientists believe the answer is no. An algorithm that could solve NP problems in polynomial time would have mind-blowing implications throughout most of math, science, and technology, and those implications are so out-of-this-world that they suggest reason to doubt that this is possible.

Of course, proving that no such algorithm exists is itself an incredibly daunting task. Being able to definitively make such a statement about these kinds of problems would likely require a much deeper understanding of the nature of information and computation than we currently have, and would almost certainly have profound and far-reaching consequences

2.THE NAVIER-STOKES EQUATION

It’s surprisingly difficult to explain what happens when you stir cream into your morning coffee.

The Navier-Stokes equations are the fluid-dynamics version of Newton’s three laws of motion. They describe how the flow of a liquid or a gas will evolve under various conditions. Just as Newton’s second law gives a description of how an object’s velocity will change under the influence of an outside force, the Navier-Stokes equations describe how the speed of a fluid’s flow will change under internal forces like pressure and viscosity, as well as outside forces like gravity.

The Navier-Stokes equations are a system of differential equations. Differential equations describe how a particular quantity changes over time, given some initial starting conditions, and they are useful in describing all sorts of physical systems. In the case of the Navier-Stokes equations, we start with some initial fluid flow, and the differential equations describe how that flow evolves.

Solving a differential equation means finding some mathematical formula to determine what your quantity of interest actually will be at any particular time, based on the equations that describe how the quantity changes. Many physical systems described by differential equations, like a vibrating guitar string, or the flow of heat from a hot object to a cold object, have well-known solutions of this type.

The Navier-Stokes equations, however, are harder. Mathematically, the tools used to solve other differential equations have not proven as useful here. Physically, fluids can exhibit chaotic and turbulent behavior: Smoke coming off a candle or cigarette tends to initially flow smoothly and predictably, but quickly devolves into unpredictable vortices and whorls.

It’s possible that this kind of turbulent and chaotic behavior means that the Navier-Stokes equations can’t actually be solved exactly in all cases. It might be possible to construct some idealized mathematical fluid that, following the equations, eventually becomes infinitely turbulent.

Anyone who can construct a way to solve the Navier-Stokes equations in all cases, or show an example where the equations cannot be solved, would win the Millennium Prize for this problem.

3. THE RIEMANN HYPOTHESIS

Wikimedia Commons
Going back to ancient times, the prime numbers – numbers divisible only by themselves and 1 – have been an object of fascination to mathematicians. On a fundamental level, the primes are the “building blocks” of the whole numbers, as any whole number can be uniquely broken down into a product of prime numbers.

Given the centrality of the prime numbers to mathematics, questions about how primes are distributed along the number line – that is, how far away prime numbers are from each other – are active areas of interest.

By the 19th century, mathematicians had discovered various formulas that give an approximate idea of the average distance between primes. What remains unknown, however, is how close to that average the true distribution of primes stays – that is, whether there are parts of the number line where there are “too many” or “too few” primes according to those average formulas.

The Riemann Hypothesis limits that possibility by establishing bounds on how far from average the distribution of prime numbers can stray. The hypothesis is equivalent to, and usually stated in terms of, whether or not the solutions to an equation based on a mathematical construct called the “Riemann zeta function” all lie along a particular line in the complex number plane. Indeed, the study of functions like the zeta function has become its own area of mathematical interest, making the Riemann Hypothesis and related problems all the more important.

Like several of the Millennium Prize problems, there is significant evidence suggesting that the Riemann Hypothesis is true, but a rigorous proof remains elusive. To date, computational methods have found that around 10 trillion solutions to the zeta function equation fall along the required line, with no counter-examples found.

Of course, from a mathematical perspective, 10 trillion examples of a hypothesis being true absolutely does not substitute for a full proof of that hypothesis, leaving the Riemann Hypothesis one of the open Millennium Prize problems.

In September 2018, the esteemed mathematician Professor Michael Atiyah claimed to have found a proof of the Riemann Hypothesis in a lecture at Heidelburg Laureate Forum. However, several mathematicians have expressed skepticism about the result, and a thorough process of reviewing and evaluating Atiyah’s arguments will now begin.

How to DELETE 99.9% of your digital footprint from the internet

Step 1: Preliminary Requirements

Go through each email you can think of that you’ve used in the past 10 years.

You’ll want to recover them if you’ve lost access, so that you can access other websites you may have signed up to using them.

Step 2: Deleting old accounts from forgotten services

Use the search function on your e-mail and look for phrases such as “Sign up” or “Welcome”

Recover account and login into each service that pops up (that you received a sign-up email) from

Now look around the service for a delete account function, google around by searching “”delete account” + “”

If there isn’t one, google or look around for a support e-mail to request for them to delete your account.

Step 2c:

For some services, you may want to purge all content and messages before you delete the account, as the account may be archived and a hacker or external entity may access this information at a later date. That’s something to bare in mind.

Step 3: Checking if your information has been compromised already.

Now you should have a list of all your usernames and all the services, ranging from streaming services to e-mails. You need to use something called boolean searches to properly use Google to locate this info

Step 3b: I’ll be using “s to denote normal quotations, as you will need to use the normal “” signs to perform these searches.

You need to google your account name

“”

Sometimes maybe your account name + password like so:

“” + “”

Step 3c: You should see possibly pastebin links or underground databases publicly accessible on the internet, or possibly leaked private information.

This is normal. It happens to a lot of services.
Note down what passwords/information was comprimised.

Step 3d: Some database leaks are a bit more private and are still being shared/sold in private circles, but you can use this website:

https://haveibeenpwned dotcom

To check if you’ve been compromised, so you can change your live information to be different.

Step 8b: Using a VPN that has no logs.

You need to make sure your VPN has had a PUBLIC audit to ensure that it has NO LOGS, this means that it has no record of what you have used their internet connection for. And when you use a VPN, it’s hard for your ISP to know either.

Step 9: USING Burner accounts

You should be using burner accounts on known intrusive services such as Google by using a fake name and information.

This is LEGAL and you should do it to avoid having your information data mined across services.

Step 10: REGULARLY deleting your internet content.

You should be regularly deleting your tweets and old photos.

This data can be used against you to cross-reference your accounts and find more personal information.

Hackers will find a target and analyze them for months.

Hackers will use your old internet information to do some of this analyzing in retrospect to piece together who your social circle is to find a vulnerability.

Anyone can be attacked. You just haven’t been a target yet.

Defend yourself through prevention.

Step 10c:

Don’t believe me?

https://theverge dot com/2019/10/11/20910551/stalker-attacked-pop-idol-reflection-pupils-selfies-videos-photos-google-street-view-japan

This is nothing. Very simple with the tools EVERYONE has access to today.
The reflections in a pop star’s eyes told a selfie stalker exactly how to find her
Be careful of what you post online thevergedotcom

That’s it for now.

This thread was brought to you by someone who hacking accounts and systems at the age of 11.

There is much more talented and scarier threats out there now,

Not to mention most of your money is now online.

Protect yourself at all costs, it’s only a few hours.

DO NOT enter your password in Google search UNLESS you know it’s a publicly compromised password already.

This will give you an idea of how many PUBLIC, CLEAR internet resources that are indexed that have it stored.
The idea was for you to see how many times that password has been breached that a very low level hacker could get his hands on after a few Google’s.
